Co-Founder and President
Seth is President and TeaEO of Honest Tea, the company he co-founded in 1998 with Barry Nalebuff. Their goal was to create healthy alternative beverages with less sugar than most bottled drinks. Seth also led Honest Tea to develop the world’s first organic certified bottled tea, as well as the first Fair Trade Certified™ bottled tea.
Founder and President
Robert is the Founder and President of L.A. Kitchen, which will open in 2014. The L.A. Kitchen will professionally recover fresh food, with an emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables, which it will use to fuel a culinary arts job training program for men and women coming out of foster care, or older men and women returning from incarceration. Robert pioneered this model during his 24 year tenure as the President of the DC Central Kitchen.

Environmental Working Group (EWG)
Ken is President and Co-Founder of Environmental Working Group (EWG). Ken’s early work at EWG culminated in the landmark 1996 Food Quality Protection Act that for the first time required EPA to consider the dietary risks of pesticides in food on children’s health. He is widely recognized as one of the environmental community’s most prominent and effective critics of U.S. farm and food policy and a leading voice on federal chemicals and pesticides law.
Stephen is the CEO of Applegate Farms, one of the largest natural and organic food brands in the United States. Under Stephen’s direction, Applegate serves as a major proponent of sustainable agricultural practices and the humane treatment of livestock, working with and supporting more than 1,000 family farms that supply meats that are both antibiotic and hormone free.
Nutrition Awareness and Innovator of the Year
Dr. Marion Nestle
Best Selling Author
Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition at NYU
Dr. Nestle is an award-winning author and the Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University. Her research examines scientific and socioeconomic influences on food choice, obesity, and food safety, emphasizing the role of food marketing.Her books Food Politics and What to Eat have won James Beard awards and she is a member of the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America.
Kristin Richmond and Kirsten Tobey
Kristin and Kirsten are the founders of Revolution Foods. Their mission is to bring healthy, fresh, and accessible meals to students across the country. When Kristin and Kirsten first launched in 2006, they produced 500 meals per day. Today, Revolution Foods serves more than a million meals per week to students all over the country and produces Meal Kits, which are available in retailers nationwide.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg
Former Mayor of New York City
Michael Bloomberg is the former Mayor of New York City, an accomplished businessman, and a philanthropist. During his tenure as Mayor, he implemented a wide variety of creative, groundbreaking policies designed to increase access to healthy foods throughout the city. Under his leadership, New York was one of the first cities in the nation to impose strict limits on artificial trans fats, which have been linked to heart disease and unhealthy cholesterol levels.
Monty Moran and Steve Ells
Co-Chief Executive Officers
Steve and Monty are the Co-Chief Executive Officers of Chipotle. Under their leadership, Chipotle has embraced sustainable food practices, particularly in sourcing meat that is antibiotic and hormone free. They also produced the award-winning, animated short film “Scarecrow,” and the series “Farmed and Dangerous,” both of which are sparking conversations about agriculture and industrial food production.
Special Guest Chef, Sam Talbot Chef Talbot was voted a “Top Chef” fan favorite, and is author of The Sweet Life: Diabetes without Boundaries. Sam Talbot is the former founding Executive Chef of the Surf Lodge in Montauk and Imperial No. Nine.
