Chosen Foods Becomes “REAL Certified” - Digital Journal

The United States Healthful Food Council (USHFC) announced today that it has audited and recognized Chosen Foods for its Responsible Epicurean and Agricultural Leadership (REAL), and awarded the use of its REAL Certified mark for its Avocado Oil and Chia Bites.

“Many people are confused by nutrition labels and industry health claims, which is why we created REAL Certified to provide an easily identifiable mark representing holistic nutrition and environmental stewardship,” said Lawrence Williams, USHFC CEO. “Chosen Foods’ understanding of the link between food and health—as well as consumers’ rights to transparency—makes them an obvious choice for the program.”
