Rachael Ray Cookware Reviews

Rachael Ray cookware is highly regarded among foodies. Many people consider her cookware to be the best around. Her products are made with high quality materials that last for years.

Design

The design of Rachael Ray cookware has remained unmatched. We love the sleek lines and modern designs.

They make cooking fun and easy. Rachael Ray cookware represents Rachael Ray's bubbly personality.

She is colorful and fun, but she isn't flashy. Her designs are simple and easy to use. The colors are lively, but not too loud.

You can buy Rachael Ray cookwares in lots of different styles and colors.

Rachael Ray cookwares are made out of high quality steel, and are dishwasher safe. They come in different sizes, and have non-stick surfaces.

Materials

Rachael Ray cookware is made out of durable materials. All the pieces are made out of stainless steel or aluminum.

Stainless steel is very strong and won't rust over time. Aluminum is lightweight and easy to clean.

Both materials are heat resistant and won't break when heated. Rachael Ray cookware is built to last.

Exterior of Cookware

The cookware is made of shiny porcelain enamel, and some colors have an added shine. Some colors have a sparkly finish.

The cookware is also dishwasher safe. However, the cookware does get dirty easily, and it needs to be cleaned regularly.

Interior of Cookware

Non-stick cookware is very useful because it makes cooking much easier. You won't need to worry about scraping off burnt food stuck to the pan.

With non-stick cookware, you can also easily clean up after yourself, without having to scrub the utensils.

However, non-stick cookware does wear out over time, and eventually needs to be replaced.

We found that the Rachael Ray cookware was mostly made from non-stick material, which is super helpful for cooking a vast array of dishes.

The other half of the pans were made from cast iron or enamel cast iron. We found these pans equally good quality, but they do require more care and maintenance.

Cast iron pans are heavy, so if you're planning on doing a lot of cooking, then this might be something to think about.

Cooking Pans

We tested several types of pans. These included:

  • 9" skillet (with lid)
  • 12" skillet (with lid), and
  • 8 inch sauté pan.

We liked the size of the pans, and how easy they were to clean. They were also great for making pancakes, omelets, and stir fries.

Lids

Most of the Rachael Ray pans come with lids, although some don't. Lids help keep your food warm while it cooks.

They also protect your food from splattering during cooking. If you want to save money, you could just use regular pots and pans instead of buying separate lids. The Rachael Ray lids are good, but they are nothing too special.

If you get the lids with your cookware set, we recommend using them. Otherwise, general lids will work just as well as the Rachael Ray lids.

Cleaning

If you plan on using the Rachael Ray pan for a long period of time, we recommend cleaning them before each use.

This will prevent any build up of grease and grime. To clean the pan, simply run hot water through the pan. Make sure to wipe out all the grooves and crevices.

After washing, dry the pan thoroughly. We found it really easy to clean out the non-stick pans, but we obviously had a bit more trouble cleaning the cast iron pans.

Durability

Rachael Ray cookware lasts for years. They are designed to withstand regular use without breaking down.

They are built to last through heavy-duty kitchen tasks like boiling water, making pasta, baking bread, frying foods, and much more.

Rachael Ray cookware are made out of high quality materials, so they won't crack or chip easily.

Performance

We think that the Rachael Ray pans perform extremely well. They heat evenly, and they make quick and efficient cooking.

We didn't find that our pans burned anything, even when cooking at a higher temperature.

Our pans heated up quickly, and cooked food evenly. We did notice that there was a slight difference in performance between the different sizes of pans.

The larger pans tended to take longer to heat up than the smaller ones. However, once the pans got going, they performed excellently.

Rachael Ray Cookware Against Other Brands

One of the biggest advantages of using Rachael Ray cookware is that they are cheaper than most other brands.

Most of the other brands cost around $100-$200. In comparison, Rachael Ray's pans start at $60.

While this may seem expensive, it's actually not bad considering that the pans are durable, and can last for many years. You'll be able to enjoy the benefits of owning Rachael Ray cookware for a long time.

Conclusion

Overall, we think that Rachael Ray cookwares are a great choice. They're affordable, and they do an excellent job of preparing meals. We love how versatile they are, and how well they cook. We hope our review helps, and we think that anyone who wants to buy Rachael Ray cookware should definitely check it out.
